A Trusted Internet? Is It Possible?

A Trusted Internet?

How Would Your Online Life Be Different If You Could Tell Whom You Could Trust?

Would you purchase more goods or services online?

I’m sure you would, for convenience sake, if you really felt that you could trust the merchants and the security on the site that your private information wouldn’t be hacked.

Would you be more willing to download files?

I’m sure you would…If you felt that your computer wouldn’t be given an awful virus that will destroy your hard drive, or that spyware would be installed on your computer stealing all of your information, including financial info and passwords.

Would you be less frightened to open up your emails?

Absolutely…Do you know why? Well, either you would be warned of suspicious emails prior to opening them, or be sure that your email wouldn’t even receive those types of emails at all.

Imagine what kind of world it would be if people felt completely comfortable to surf, share, participate, download and purchase.

More pertinent to this blog, imagine what it would be like if you had a “green light” attached to your website, downloads, emails, etc that let people know you have good intentions and that you are a trusted website.

How much would that increase the results of your marketing efforts? Who knows…100-fold? 1000-fold?

To many cynical and leery internet consumers and surfers, being able to trust you as a website or marketer, means all the difference in the world!
