Bing Teams Up With Facebook; Changes Internet Marketing

If you have a small business, and have been looking for new ways to reach clients, customers, and patients… then you will like the “new competition” that has hit the scene.

Yahoo! was the granddaddy of search engines, but when Google came along, they became a forgotten about way to reach your market. But recently MSN bough Yahoo! search and created Bing. Bing has been on the rise for some time striking deals to deliver & obtain more traffic and more traffic and to close the gap on Google market share.

But today I saw the biggest leap ever. If you can’t beat them, join them… Integration Marketing at it’s best right here.

Bing & Facebook

While Google is trying to get a piece of the “social network” by adding their plus 1 (+1), Facebook was making deals of their own.

When I logged out of creating a new Facebook page just now I got this screen below:

I thought… wow.

Facebook has over 600 million users and growing and are the #1 most viewed website in the world. With this alliance Bing will now be able to reach most all of Facebooks users everyday. How close this will move Bing to the search giant Google is unsure, but this is huge leaps and bounds.

What does this mean for your small business marketing plan?

Reach a larger market for cheaper!

It’s not for certain yet, but this could mean that you will start to see a huge increase in the amount of traffic your can get from Bing. This is important because the clicks there are cheaper and should start to level the playing field quite a bit as far as competition goes.

Right now you can get cheaper clicks on Bing (pay per click search engine) and they have a really easy to use ad platform. It’s very similar to Google’s, and has a lot of free tools that you can use also. Also your ads go live pretty fast like with Adwords.

UPDATE:

The relationship has gone even further.  Now when you are logged into Facebook and do a search… You have the option of selecting Bing.

This means that you can search Bing’s search result right inside of Facebook without ever having to leave the site.  This means that you now have access to Facebook users with Bing Ads search platform.  Interesting to say the least.

So, now all of your Bing ads will have more reach.

Till next time… generate leads & convert those leads into buyers… Learn more about how to here:  FREE report reveals secrets of how to get more customers, clients, and patients…
